The family-less steak eating walk series is finally in the second half. So far, I have introduced Saizeriya , Royal Host , Jonathan , and Cocos , but this time it is a "Gust" steak!

There is no single meat steak on Gust's grand menu (at the time of writing). However, there is a limited quantity of "Beef Shoulder Loin Steak Soy Sauce" (999 yen, tax not included, same below) in the summer limited "Summer Collection Menu", so I tried this!


◆ Gusto summer steak

A steak weighing about 180g (6.35oz) and a little less than 1cm thick. A separate plate of soy sauce and garnished hashed potatoes, corn and green peas are included.


When you cut the meat, the cross section is a rare burning condition like never before! The sizzle of lean meat is arousing.


When you put it on your cheeks ... The firm chewy texture of the shoulder loin, the tender meat quality, and the gravy that squirts with each bite ... You can get the feeling that "I'm eating meat now". It feels like what I ate becomes my own blood.

The soy sauce-based sauce has a strong, punchy taste, and when you eat it with a little meat, it becomes crispy and you won't get tired of it until the end.

Sour and refreshing

The meat is a little hard to cut, it is stiff, and it has a chewy texture like shoulder loin, so it takes some chin strength to eat, but the taste of meaty lean meat is condensed tightly and satisfaction Is expensive! By the way, the hash browns on the side were also crunchy and I personally liked them very much.

This junky feeling is the best

◆ Gust cut steak

Although it is not a single piece of meat, the regular menu also includes a combination plate of cut steaks such as "hamburger & cut steak" and "cut steak & mixed fried". So I also tried "hamburger & cut steak"!



The cut steak is a little thin, about 5 mm thick. It is well cooked to the inside.



The mouthfeel is softer than shoulder loin! The meat is plump and elastic, and it is easy to chew and eat. It tastes like grilled meat with a refreshing soy sauce sauce.

As an aside, the hamburger steak with demiglace sauce next to it was also plump, juicy and delicious.


◆ Recommended shoulder loin

Both were delicious, but the amount of cut steak is not large and it definitely gives a feeling of grilled meat (although it is easy to eat), so if you want to fully enjoy the feeling of eating steak, I recommend beef shoulder loin steak!


Gust's beef shoulder loin steak, in terms of meat taste alone, may be my favorite of all the family-less steaks I've ever eaten. The price is cheap, and I wanted to go there again if I wanted to eat stuffy meat.
