Simple recipe for Taiwanese dessert "Douhua"

I tried to reproduce it easily using soy milk!

Material ( For 4 people )
water 1/2 cup
Soy milk 500ml (16.91us fl oz)
Kanten Cook 1 tsp
sugar 1 tablespoon
Boiled azuki beans and honey if you like Appropriate amount

Taiwanese dessert "Toupha" has a gentle sweetness and a melting texture. I tried to reproduce it easily at home using soy milk! How about after a Chinese dinner such as Gyozaya or Chinjaolose?

● Materials

Click here for what to prepare. I refer to the recipe of the Co-op Pal System.

1/2 cup soy milk 500ml (16.91us fl oz)
Kanten Cook 1 teaspoon
1 tablespoon sugar
Appropriate amount of azuki beans and honey if you like

● How to make

Put water, sugar and kanten cook in a pan, mix and heat over medium heat to dissolve.

Turn off the heat, add soy milk and mix well.

When the heat is removed, put it in a container such as a vat or tapper and cool it in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours to harden it.

Scoop it up with a spoon and serve it in a bowl, and if you like, top it with honey or azuki beans and you're done!

● What is the taste?

Trottro ~! If you put it in your mouth, it will melt without chewing. It looks like silk tofu, but has a much softer and more fragile texture. And a smooth and comfortable throat. The gentle bean flavor spreads softly, leaving a fragrant finish on the tongue. Relieved deliciousness.

The recipe is modest in sweetness, so adjust the amount of sugar to your liking. Personally, I recommend adding sweetness with toppings such as azuki beans and honey, and enjoying the taste of the beans themselves!
