Material ( For two people )
Pork for gingerbread 200g (7.05oz)
sweet half sake 100ml (3.38us fl oz)
soy sauce 2 tablespoons
Grated ginger (can use a tube) 1 to 2 tablespoons
wheat flour proper quantity
oil proper quantity

Amazake is not only for drinking, but it can also be used as a secret ingredient in cooking. This time, I'll introduce you to gingerbread pork. If you marinate it in a seasoning solution with amazake and bake it, the meat will turn out juicy and tender!

Easy recipe for Gingered pork marinated in amazake

Ingredients

Here is what you need to prepare. This is based on a recipe from Nakano Shuzo.

200g (7.05oz) pork for gingerbread
100 ml sweet sake
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 to 2 tablespoons grated ginger (tube is fine)
A pinch of flour
A little oil

How to make

Mix amazake, soy sauce, and ginger in a bowl or zipper bag, and marinate the pork. Marinate for at least 30 minutes if possible. You can leave it overnight.

Pork.

Soak in a sauce containing sweet sake.

Remove the pork, drain, and dust with flour. Do not discard the marinade, but save it for later.

Sprinkle with flour.

Heat the oil in a frying pan and sear the pork on both sides.
