There are chestnuts in it
The famous cream bun store "Hatendo". The seasonal "Cream Bread with Marron" is a highly satisfying dish with moist marron-flavored cream and fluffy chestnuts.
Hattendo is a famous cream bun shop from Hiroshima, but you also have small shops in the Kanto and Kansai areas inside railway stations. When I passed by, in addition to the standard custard, there were items with different tastes according to the season, so I bought it. The price is 350 yen (tax included).
The wrapping paper claims to contain marron, but when removed, it is a normal cream bun. Even if you bring your face closer, the scent does not change. But as soon as I bite into it, the strong autumn flavor overflows.
Large chestnuts are contained between the creams reminiscent of boiled chestnuts in astringent skin, and the scent of marron spreads in the mouth from there.
The chestnut flavor on the cream itself is fluffy, milky and soft. Combined with the moist bread dough, it is the usual Hattendo finish, but when the fluffy chestnuts are combined, each becomes an accent to each other and turns into another sweet.
For example, even if you cut it into small pieces with a knife and carry it to your mouth little by little, the chestnuts have a considerable presence, so you will recognize the size again. If you eat all of them by yourself, you can be assured that you will feel like you have enjoyed the marrons.
