[I made it] Educational confectionery "Taiyaki & Odango" Taiyaki, Mitarashi dango, Ichigo Daifuku, Ramune! Recommended for beginners of educational sweets

Educational confectionery Poppin Cookin series

The educational confectionery Popin Cookin series "Taiyaki & Odango" sold by Kracie. The estimated price is 250 yen (excluding tax).

Taiyaki & Odango

"Taiyaki & Odango" is a set that allows you to make taiyaki and dumplings that look exactly like the real thing. You can make one each of Taiyaki, Mitarashi Dango, Ichigo Daifuku, and Ramune in one box.

What you need to prepare is water, clean hands, scissors, and an environment where you can use a microwave oven. First, cut the tray and bag.

Ichigo Daifuku

First, let's make strawberry daifuku strawberry. Put a spoonful of water and "Strawberry Jelly Source" in a strawberry mold and mix well with a skewer.

Strawberry making

While waiting for the strawberries to harden, pour water up to the line next to the tray with the cherry blossom pattern and drop "Mochi no Moto". Mix well by pressing with a spoon.

mix

When it's all together, take it out and knead it about 30 times like crushing it by hand. After kneading, divide into two chunks of the same size.

Mochi-like lumps

One is for Ichigo Daifuku. Spread it sideways according to the "size of strawberry daifuku" on the "small plate sheet". The other one is for Mitarashi dumplings. Also, let's divide it into 3 pieces and roll them according to the "size of the bun" on the sheet.

Taiyaki

Put 4 spoons of water and "Taiyaki dough base" in a tray with a cherry blossom pattern and mix well until there are no lumps.

Make the dough

After inserting the line next to the taiyaki mold, tap the bottom of the tray about 10 times on a flat surface to remove the air, and heat it in the microwave when the dough spreads throughout the mold.

Pour

Bleed the air

The standard for heating is 500W for about 40 seconds and 600W for about 30 seconds. If you have a microwave oven with a turntable, put it on the edge, if not, put it in the center.

Lentin

After baking, let it cool for a while.

Unwind

Put 2 spoons of water and "Chocolate Cream Source" in a cherry blossom tray and mix well.

Let's make chocolate cream

Once you have all the ingredients, it's time to finish! Place half a spoon of chocolate cream in the middle of the ichigo daifuku mochi. Remove the hardened strawberry jelly from the mold with a skewer and top it on the chocolate cream. Lift both ends of the mochi and wrap it tightly to complete "Ichigo Daifuku".

If you wrap it tightly, the completion of Ichigo Daifuku

Gently peel off the area around the taiyaki and push it out from the back of the mold. If you can't get it out, use a skewer. If you put chocolate cream in between, "Taiyaki" is completed.

Mitarashi dumpling

Put 2 spoons of water and "Mitarashi sauce" in a taiyaki mold and mix. Put the dumplings on a skewer and entangle the sauce with a spoon while turning it on the mold. "Mitarashi dango" is also OK with this.

Ramune

Finally, make a ramune cup, pour water about 1 cm below the top of the cup, and pour the "ramune source".

If you add water and "the source of ramune"

Ramune completed

This completes all 4 types! I felt it was relatively easy compared to the educational sweets I had made so far.

The taste is also good. The taiyaki dough is apple-flavored and the bean paste is not grape-flavored, and they all taste the same as they look. I couldn't get rid of the candy-like taste, but I was able to eat it normally.

Surprisingly

Sticky

"Taiyaki & Odango" recommended for beginners in the Poppin Cookin series. Next time, I plan to try "Let's make! Obento!".
