FamilyMart "Cream Suiyokan"

Have you tried the "Cream Suiyokan" sold at FamilyMart (228 yen including tax)? It may look rather plain, but it's a delicious dessert that I would like to recommend to both Japanese and Western confectionery lovers..!

Cream mizuyokan" flavor review

A mizuyokan made with red bean paste from Hokkaido and a generous dollop of whipped cream blended with fresh Hokkaido cream. It is topped with three small pieces of azuki beans. The calorie count is 231 kcal.



When you put a spoon in, it goes through smoothly. The whipped cream is not that sweet, but has a rich, thick, milky and full flavor. And the watery kanada underneath...so smooth! If anything, it is smoother than whipped cream...you can even drink it!


When you eat this melting mizuyokan and whipped cream together, they melt in your mouth at the same time, and the mild sweetness of the red bean paste and the mellow richness of the milk melt together on your tongue. They don't interfere with each other, both have an elegant sweetness, and they gently cohabitate with each other...it's just too delicious! The anko covered with whipped topping gives it a mellow and luxurious feel that makes it an aristocratic dessert.


The superbly smooth texture and just the right amount of sweetness, combined with the cool, refreshing taste, makes the "Cream Suiyokan" a treat that can be eaten like a drink even in the heat of summer. It is small in size but very satisfying, so it is perfect for when you want something a little sweet or for an after-dinner dessert!
