Ice Fair" is a regular summer fair at Cocos where shaved ice made from "pure ice" can be enjoyed. Pure ice refers to ice made from high-quality water that has been slowly frozen at around -10°C for 48 hours or more. The shaved ice at Cocos is made by shaving the pure ice into small pieces while allowing air into it, resulting in a fluffy texture that rivals that of specialty ice stores.

This year, seven flavors including "Shirokuma," which was popular last year (2022), will be available. The lineup includes "Shirokuma," "Mont Blanc," "Melon Soda," "Pop Blue," "Strawberry," "Ujikintoki," and "Mango. Each is priced at 759 yen (tax included).

Also available at a reasonable price are mini sizes (4 types in total), perfect for after dinner. The lineup includes "Mini Strawberry," "Mini Uji Kintoki," "Mini Mango," and "Koguma (Shirokuma's mini size). Each is priced at 539 yen (tax included).

Shirokuma

Shaved ice with an image of Kagoshima's specialty "Shirokuma", which is served with milk syrup (optional). The fluffy pure ice is topped with plenty of fresh fruits such as kiwi, banana, pink grapefruit, and apples, making it a satisfying dish. With azuki beans inside the pure ice and frozen strawberries combined on the back, this shaved ice is fun to eat from any angle.

Mont Blanc

Fluffy pure ice is combined with moist and smooth Italian marron paste, chocolate sauce, and crunchy crushed pie to create a satisfying shaved ice. Crushed cookies are hidden in the pure ice, giving you new textures and tastes as you continue eating. Add the optional milk syrup and chocolate sauce for a richer taste.

Melon Soda

This shaved ice is reminiscent of the old-fashioned melon cream soda found in coffee shops. It is made with pure ice topped with bright green melon syrup and served with fluffy whip, cherries in syrup, and vanilla ice cream. An optional crackling candy gives the soda a shwashy feel. The melon syrup, also served separately, provides a rich sweetness until the very last sip.

Pop Blue

The bright blue color and refreshing sweetness of passion fruit flavor make this shaved ice perfect for summer. The color changes from blue to purple when the optional sweet and sour lemon syrup is poured on top. The optional crackling candy gives you the refreshing feeling of soda, while the pop blue syrup lets you enjoy the rich sweetness of the passion fruit flavor.

Strawberry

The royal flavor of shaved ice is given a Coco's twist. Fluffy pure ice is topped with fluffy whip, frozen strawberries, and white chocolate flakes. You can enjoy the marriage of the sweet and sour taste of strawberries with the fluffy whip and white chocolate flakes.

Uji Kintoki

This Japanese-style shaved ice allows you to enjoy the fragrant and elegant taste of matcha green tea. It is served with shiratama (white rice balls) and azuki beans, which go perfectly with the aroma of matcha powder and the flavor of the matcha syrup. With the optional matcha syrup and milk syrup, you can enjoy the rich taste until the very last bite.

Mango

Shaved ice with plenty of mango to give you the feeling of everlasting summer. The refreshing mango syrup made with Alphonso mango puree and mandarin orange juice goes perfectly with the richly sweet white chocolate flakes. This is a dish to be enjoyed with a hearty frozen mango.
