FamilyMart is actively implementing initiatives aimed at creating "exciting stores" where store staff can participate in the product conception and selection process. In 2022, we solicited product ideas for cream puffs from store staff nationwide, and received 5,852 applications, approximately 1.8 times more than the number received for the Souffle Pudding Festival held in 2021.

Six types of cream puffs representing each area were selected from among the entries and will be released in October 2022. The "Regional Cream Puff Competition! Cream Puff King Competition" was held to determine the best cream puffs for nationwide release.

At the same time, a Twitter popularity contest was held to determine the "Cream Puff King! Twitter popularity contest," the representative of the Western Japan area, "Chocolate Cream Puff by chocolate lovers for chocolate lovers," took first place. The ganache cream was delicious with a moderate sweetness," and "The dried strawberries accentuate the taste and keep it fresh," were among the many comments received.


The combination of ganache cream with shaved chocolate, chocolate coating, and chocolate puff pastry is a must-have for chocolate lovers. It is topped with dried strawberries to accent the flavor.
