Sakiyoken

"Selectable Ebomaki" series will be available from Sakiyoken. Shiomai Ehomaki Man" and "Kuchifuku Ehomaki" will be available.

The direction of blessing in 2023 is south-southeast. It is recommended that you make a wish with Sakiyo-ken's choice of ehoumaki, both traditional and unusual.

Sioumai

Ehomaki

Man "Sioumai Ehomaki Man" is a unique Sakiyo-ken ehoumaki in which sioumai bean paste is wrapped in Chinese bun skin and rolled. At approximately 10 cm in length and 4 cm in diameter, it is smaller than most ehoumaki, making it easy to eat. Each roll is branded with "Hyo-chan," the character of the soy sauce container, and is made to "roll in good fortune. Early reservations are recommended.

The price is 380 yen (tax included, same below). 160 stores mainly in Tokyo and Kanagawa will carry the product at room temperature from February 1 to 3. Some stores will only take reservations on February 1 and 2. Mail order and some roadside stores will sell frozen items from January 8 to February 3.


Kuchifuku

Keihomaki

"Kuchifuku Keihomaki" is a thick roll with seven different ingredients in honor of the Seven Gods of Good Fortune, who are said to bring good fortune. The "Kuchifuku ehoumaki" is a thick roll with seven different ingredients, including "sea bream minced with minced sea bream" and "vinegared rice with scallop", "rape blossoms" and "crab-flavored kamaboko in sweet vinegar" to add color and flavor, "shredded bamboo shoot stew" based on the popular bamboo shoot stew seasoning, "soft-tasting fried egg" and "ginger kombu paste" as a flavor unique to Kakiyoken. The ingredients are mixed with the sushi rice and served in a colorful combination.

These ingredients and sushi rice are rolled in a shiny baked laver, and when you bite into it, the flavors of the ingredients mingle together in your mouth. It measures approximately 18 cm in length and 5 cm in diameter.


The price is 760 yen. Reservations can be made at approximately 160 stores in Kanagawa and Tokyo from January 8, and will be available from February 1 to 3. About 120 stores, mainly in Kanagawa and Tokyo, will also sell the product in-store without reservations on February 3 only.
