The Omi Beef Menchikatsu Sandwich will be available exclusively at three Lotteria stores in Shiga and Kyoto prefectures: at the EXPASA Taga store on July 21, and at the Hamaotsu ARCUS and Keihan Demachiyanagi Station stores on July 28. The price is 980 yen (10% tax included).

Since 2011, Lotteria has been developing a variety of local burgers for local consumption and regional revitalization. The "LO Local Burger" is sold exclusively at Lotteria stores and has been a great success.

As part of the efforts being developed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the company's founding this year, the "Omi Beef Menchikatsu Sandwich" will be sold as a regular menu item at three stores in Shiga and Kyoto prefectures only. This new product uses Omi beef, which is raised in Shiga Prefecture and is said to be one of Japan's three best cuts of beef.


The "Omi Beef Menchikatsu Sandwich" is an appetizing burger with a combination of menchikatsu and Worcestershire sauce. The 90 grams of Omi beef menchikatsu, combined with Oliver sauce, which is very popular in the Kansai region, is sandwiched with lettuce and mayo sauce on a soft French bun with whole wheat flour flavor.

Oliver Sauce is a sauce made with plenty of vegetables and fruits to bring out the flavor, and flavored with chicken extract, fishmeal, and aromatic vegetables. It is characterized by its deep flavor.
