Yoshinaga Kameya will release "Slice Yokan Roasted Sweet Potato", a sister product of the sheet-shaped yokan "Slice Yokan" that is baked on bread on September 7. Scheduled to be sold until the end of November. The price is 594 yen (tax included).

Sliced yokan roasted sweet potato

Three years ago, the "first" sliced yokan was a product that contained three flavors, "Kokura butter," "raspberry," and "sweet potato," in one bag. When selling it, many people said that they wanted to eat only Ogura flavor, and the current "sliced yokan (Ogura butter)" became a standard item. On the other hand, after the renewal, many people said, "Sweet potatoes were my favorite," and it was an idea that I wanted to develop as an autumn product someday. This time, it has been developed even more deliciously and is now available as a "roasted sweet potato" flavor.


Western-style tailoring of roasted sweet potato with homemade caramel and fresh cream. By placing it on bread and baking it in a toaster, you can enjoy a rich taste like freshly baked "sweet potato". When toasted, the cinnamon has a slight aroma and goes well with coffee and tea.


Topped with Okinawan salted kogashi butter yokan. "Ogura" and "Baked sweet potato" yokan of Tamba Dainagon azuki beans are half and half, and you can enjoy it twice with one piece. Poppy seeds and black sesame accent the texture and flavor.
