KAMEYA RYOCHO "Sliced Yokan Spring Berry

Kameya-Ryacho will sell "Sliced Yokan Spring Berry", a sister product of "Sliced Yokan", a sheet of yokan baked on bread, from March 9 to 22, 2012, at eight Isetan Mitsukoshi Group Kayuan stores and Kameya-Ryacho JR Kyoto Isetan store. It will be available at the online store. The price is 594 yen (tax included).

The first "sliced yokan", which is toasted on bread like a slice of cheese, was originally released three years ago with three flavors in one bag: "Ogura Butter", "Raspberry", and "Sweet Potato". After its launch, many people wanted only the "Ogura" flavor, so the current "Sliced Yokan (Ogura Butter)" became the standard product.

On the other hand, after the renewal, many people said that the raspberry was their favorite, and it was an idea that had been kept in the back of their minds to someday introduce it as a spring product. For this launch, we have developed a new, even tastier product. The "Spring Berry" flavor has been reborn.

Sliced Yokan Spring Berries

White bean paste is blended with fresher strawberries and raspberries to create a sweet and sour taste that is easy to eat without getting tired of it. The "Ogura" yokan made from Tanba Dainagon azuki beans and the "Spring Berry" yokan are half and half, so you can enjoy two different flavors in one piece. The "kogashi butter yokan" with a hint of Okinawan salt is placed on top as an accent. When baked on bread, it melts and gives a rich taste.
