In the "Kongari butter dough cream puff" series, custard cream puffs appeared in March 2020, and 2021 is the first anniversary. "Uji Matcha cream puff with dark butter dough" will be on sale for a limited time as a new spring flavor of custard cream puff that has been well received since its release.

For the luxurious cream, we use matcha carefully selected under the supervision of Mr. Suehiro Yoneda, the tea master of the long-established Uji tea shop "Hokado" during the Tenpo era (1830-1843). By sticking to the type and composition of Uji matcha that matches the choux pastry and using the cream as a custard base, it goes well with the dough and has a rich taste.
