Spicy! Ra-Kikurage" is sweet kikurage cooked with raayu and spiced with garlic and sesame. 60g (2.12oz) package, priced at 244 yen (tax included).


The package is labeled "from the Ra family" with a portrait on the top, but there is no information about the Ra family, so it is probably just a mood.

I tried "spicy! I tried "Rah-kikurage".

It looks like kelp tsukudani. It is similar in that there are sesame seeds here and there.


When you put it in your mouth, you will feel the sweet and spicy flavor spreading on your tongue. At first, I thought it was not so spicy. But as you enjoy the crunchy texture of the kikurage, the spiciness of the raayu gradually takes effect. The aftertaste is a bit spicy. It is safe to say that you should not put too much in your mouth.
