From the "Meiji The Chocolate" brand, four flavors will be released that allow you to enjoy different flavors depending on the production area. 70% of each cacao is used in Venezuela, Brazil, Peru and Dominica. It will be released nationwide from September 29th.

The content is 50g (1.76oz), and the estimated price is 220 yen (excluding tax). The "Meiji The Chocolate" series is "BEAN to BAR" chocolate that focuses on each process from cacao beans to fermentation, roasting, molds, and packaging. This new flavor has the same cacao content of 70%, but the taste is different depending on the production area.

The characteristic of the cacao used in "Meiji The Chocolate Venezuelan Cacao 70" is "Natti". Rich chocolate with a nutty aroma and deliciousness.

The characteristic of the cacao used in "Meiji The Chocolate Brazil Cacao 70" is "Fruity". A crisp, light-finished chocolate with a refreshing citrus aroma and acidity.

The characteristic of the cacao used in "Meiji The Chocolate Peruvian Cacao 70" is "floral". A pleasant and astringent chocolate with a fluffy floral scent.

The characteristic of the cacao used in "Meiji The Chocolate Dominican Republic Cacao 70" is "spicy". Chocolate with a herb-like scent that allows you to enjoy a good balance of acidity, richness, and umami.

In each case, Meiji researchers go directly to the cacao producing areas to support cacao farmers, collaborative fermentation research, and continue purchasing at appropriate prices.
