Genkai pickles "Dried fruit pickles"

"Dried fruit kasuzuke" is on sale from Genkai-zuke, a kasuzuke maker in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture. A dish with a "cocktail-like taste". Comes in a gift package.

Originally, whale cartilage and scallop kasuzuke made from sake lees are manufactured in Genkai-zuke, and both are so-called "eat with sake lees" in Kyushu. Recently, a new menu using sake lees has been created with the aim of spreading it nationwide.

Until now, "Cream cheese Daiginjo Kasuzuke" was made and was well received, but it needed refrigeration. Therefore, this time, dried fruits are selected as a material that can be delivered at room temperature. It was pre-sold to customers who are already using Genkai-zuke, but due to requests for gifts, it will be officially sold as a new series with special packages and gift boxes.

Dried fruits are wrapped in Japanese paper and soaked in sake lees, so you can take them out and eat them without dropping them. The flesh absorbs the moisture of sake lees, and you can enjoy the juicy and tasty sake lees flavor. You can enjoy it as a snack or dessert as it is.

The contents are 70g (2.47oz) of apples, 50g (1.76oz) of pineapples and 60g (2.12oz) of kiwis. Dried fruits are from Thailand and sake lees are from Japan. The selling price is 648 yen each in a package (tax included, the same applies below), and 2,052 yen in a gift box. In the future, "Sake lees butter" will be released.
