MUJI "Tiramisu" and "Dried Fruit and Ricotta Cheesecake

MUJI "Tiramisu" and "Dried Fruit and Ricotta Cheesecake"

will be available at MUJI chilled stores from July 5, 2012.

Tiramisu

is modeled after tiramisu, which originated in Italy. Not only is rich Hokkaido mascarpone used and coffee syrup soaked into the biscuit, but the top surface is topped with bittersweet charred coffee powder. By using coffee powder instead of cocoa powder, which is commonly used, the biscuit is tailored to allow the bitterness and depth of coffee to be enjoyed more. Priced at 390 yen per piece (tax included).

Cheesecake with

Dried Fruits and Ricotta Che

esecake inspired by the Italian dessert "cassata". The cheesemousse is made with refreshingly sour cream cheese and ricotta, and topped with dried cranberries, orange peel, and walnuts for a different texture and flavor. A sponge soaked in syrup is also added to accentuate the flavors and textures. Priced at 390 yen per piece (tax included).
