KALDI Shine Muscat and Honey

At KALDI Coffee Farm, I found a rare "Muscat" item as a jam flavor. Its name is "Shine Muscat and Honey". I was curious, so give it a try.

Shine Muscat and Honey

"Flesh sauce" using domestic Shine Muscat. The usage and sales floor in KALDI are the same as jam, but it seems that it will be a sauce instead of jam as a type.

When I scoop it with a spoon, it is thicker but looser than jam. It's just like sauce or jelly.

The scent is sweet and mellow. It makes you feel a refreshing muscat with a clear pale green.

The taste is an elegant sweetness with a slight acidity. The richness of honey makes up for the areas that are too clean with Muscat alone, resulting in a well-balanced finish.

The mixed flesh pieces have a crispy texture. When chewed, the muscat flavor pops juicy. I personally recommend applying it to unbaked bread rather than toast to give it a fresh feel. Cream cheese and whipped cream seem to go well together.

You can also enjoy it as a topping on ice cream or yogurt, as a flavored tea by adding it to black tea, or as a muscat drink by diluting it 3 to 4 times with water. The price is 486 yen (tax included) with 250 pieces.
