From the "Wa Sweets" series of MONTEUR, "Kikyou Shingen / Kikyo Shingen", which is a collaboration with Kikyouya, is now available. It will be sold at supermarkets nationwide except Okinawa from June 1st to June 30th. The estimated price is 220 yen (excluding tax).

"Wa Sweets" is a series that combines Western confectionery and Japanese confectionery. There are sweets that you can fully enjoy the "cream taste" unique to Western confectionery brands and the "freshness" that can only be achieved in the chilled temperature range.

"Kikyou Shingen Mochikasutira" is a Western-style castella that expresses the taste of "Kikyou Shingen Mochi" from Kikyoya, a famous confectionery that represents Yamanashi. For the castella, plenty of kinako is used in the image of Kikyo Shingen Mochi. Mirin and other ingredients are added to match the cream inside, and the dough is baked into a moist, fine and elastic dough.


The black honey cream has a rich flavor with a combination of black honey paste using Kikyouya's dark black honey, Monteur's home-cooked custard, and whipped cream. When you put the chewy castella in your mouth, the scent is soft and you can enjoy the rich taste of black honey, which makes you feel as if you are eating Kikyo Shingen Mochi.
