A spring menu is available at MUJI's cafe "Cafe & Meal MUJI". It was announced on the official blog of the cafe. Two types of strawberry desserts, "Strawberry Parfait" and "Strawberry Short in a Glass", are introduced.
First of all, "Strawberry Parfait" is 800 yen (tax included, same below), and as the name suggests, it is a rich, sweet and sour cup of seasonal strawberries combined with handmade strawberry sauce, crumble, and cream cheese.
"Strawberry short in a glass" is 500 yen. Rich white chocolate cream, butter cake and strawberry sauce are mixed and put in a glass decorated with seasonal strawberries.
"Uji Matcha Cake" is introduced as a sweet other than strawberries. The price is 550 yen. White chocolate is added to the stone milled Uji matcha, which is characterized by its rich aroma and astringency, to give it a rich finish.
The deli menu that you order with rice includes "milk tofu with white sesame sauce." A spring-like dish with a chewy texture of milk tofu, a flavorful sauce of white sesame and seasonal rape blossoms.
