Cut corners, but delicious! Here is a simple recipe for jelly made from whole canned fruit. Since empty cans are used instead of molds, there is little to wash and you can usually make it with things you have at home.
Ingredients
Here is what you need to prepare.1 can of canned fruit of your choice
2 to 3 tablespoons sugar
5 g gelatin
Use any canned fruit you like, like peaches, oranges, pineapple, whatever!
How to make
Open the can and separate the berries from the juice (syrup) inside. In a heatproof bowl, stir together 3 tablespoons of the syrup and the powdered gelatin. Heat this in the microwave for 30 seconds to dissolve well.
Add sugar to the mixture and stir well to dissolve.
Return the contents of the bowl to the can and gently stir in all of the syrup as well. Then return the fruit pulp.
Refrigerate until firm, then remove and place in a serving bowl. If it is difficult to take out, open the bottom of the can with a can opener and shake it up and down several times to make it easier to take out. The moment it comes out smoothly is quite pleasant.
After removing it, cut it into reasonable sized pieces, place it in a bowl, and you're done!
How does it taste?
It is so smooth and refreshing, and delicious! The jelly has a pleasant firmness and elasticity, and is soaked with the sweetness of the syrup and the fresh taste of the fruit. The tangerine and peach pulp in the jelly is the best part! It's easy to make and delicious, so you can stock up on different canned fruits and enjoy them on different days.
