Katsuya "Chicken cutlet bowl with ginger"
Deep-fried chicken + chicken cutlet with a refreshing ginger sauce!

I ate Katsuya's limited-time menu "Ginger Karaage Chicken Katsu Don". It's a hearty menu with chicken cutlet and fried chicken, but thanks to the generous amount of ginger, you can eat it very refreshingly.

The amount of fried chicken is usually enough

The second of "SUPER HUNGRY SALE" with various limited menus. It is on sale for about a month from August 19th, and will end as soon as it is sold out. The price is 637 yen (tax included), and you can double the fried chicken by paying an additional fee of 108 yen, but this time I kept it at a normal amount.

Mayonnaise is also attached to the shredded cabbage

The bowl that has appeared is large enough to make you think, "I didn't have to double the fried chicken." Ginger sauce is a darkening of the crispy batter. At first glance, the amount of sauce does not seem to be that much, but when I grab it with chopsticks, the scent of ginger is very strong, and the taste is almost evenly distributed throughout the bowl.

Also, if you use Katsuya's other menus, you can clearly see the difference between the characteristics of fried chicken and chicken cutlet, but this time, both of them are completely dyed with the flavor of condiments, and you can almost distinguish the taste in your mouth. I can't attach it. The crunchy texture of the cutlet batter and the juicy texture of the fried chicken make it barely recognizable.

Ginger sauce counteracts the original solid personality of chicken cutlets and fried chicken, and makes the mouth feel refreshed. Thanks to this, you can experience that even though a large amount of fried food is settled in the stomach, a refreshing aftertaste remains on the tongue, which makes it difficult to understand what it is.

By the way, the sauce goes well with shredded cabbage, and that's enough to make a side dish of rice. A lot of mayonnaise is also included for those who dare to want a savory taste.
