SweetXO Good Grief

SweetXO Good Grief is located on Takeshita-dori in Harajuku and is the first sweet shop in California. The store sells cute, pop-style sweets and drinks that are typical of Harajuku.

Unchikun Soft Serve Ice Cream

One of the most eye-catching items is the "Unchikun Soft Ice Cream". Co-developed with Harajuku YouTuber Shinako, it's a sweet treat with a big impact! The price is 700 yen per piece. The price is 700 yen per piece (tax included, same as below).

Soft ice cream in the shape of a plastic toilet bowl, served in a generous portion. There are five toppings to choose from: heart, rabbit, pigeon, crown, and flower. I chose the crown.





The appearance is quite shocking, but thanks to the toppings of eyes and mouth, it looks somewhat cute (the feeling may vary depending on the individual). The rich raw chocolate flavored soft-serve ice cream has a light and refreshing aftertaste. You can feel the richness and sweetness of the chocolate, but it is not overpowering. However, it melts quite fast, so you should start eating it immediately after taking a picture!

Tears of a Unicorn

If you don't have the courage to try Unchikun Soft Ice Cream, I recommend Unicorn's Tears, a sparkling peach juice! If you don't have the courage (?) to eat "unchikun soft serve ice cream", I recommend the sparkling peach juice "Unicorn's Tears"! This juice has a Harajuku design with a unicorn printed on the bottle. The price is 700 yen per unit.


The straw you get with the set is heart-shaped! The juice contains edible lame, so shake it lightly before drinking to enjoy the "glitter.
