Western noodle shop Goemon is famous for Japanese-style spaghetti. I heard that the 150 yen (excluding tax, the same applies below) sweets that can be eaten for lunch are excellent, so I tried it.
At Yomenya Goemon, there is a store that uses a system that allows you to order pasta as a main dish, drinks, salads, etc. at lunch time for a small additional fee. You can choose from several types of sweets for 150 yen. This time, I decided to order the seasonal "Strawberry Creme Brulee with Strawberry Ice Cream".
First spaghetti
Before that, decide on pasta. For "Shrimp and Avocado Genovese" (1,000 yen). Goemon's Genovese is a classic menu but I have never eaten it.
I will wait for a while after the order is accepted. Beautiful green-colored spaghetti appears on a platter. It contains a lot of small shrimp, avocado cut into pieces, and raw basil.
The noodles are really spaghetti thick. The sauce uses plenty of olive oil and smells like herbs. The saltiness is strong. Although Goemon is known for its Japanese-style flavor, Genovese usually has a Western-style finish. It was a little surprising, but I was satisfied with the quantity and taste.
Next sweets
Next is the sweets of the main subject. At first glance, you can see that there is a lot of volume. A round custard pudding sits down and is covered with crispy caramel. On top of that were raw strawberries, light pink strawberry ice cream, and mint leaves.
The plate is decorated with sauce and has a "dessert" feel. Raw strawberries are small but have a high aroma. The caramel cracks when you hit it with a spoon, and it's crispy when you bring it to your mouth. The pudding has a fluffy texture and a gentle sweetness. Straw berry ice cream is a royal road. Quality that does not match the rumors I heard.
However, since it is ordered as an extra meal, it is this price, and the spaghetti of Goemon has a lot of volume no matter which one you choose, so I would like to devise such as reducing breakfast on the day I challenge.
