ate! Katsuya "Chicken cutlet and fried chicken bowl"
A competition between Karaage and chicken katsu!

At Katsuya, I ate "Chicken cutlet and fried chicken rice bowl". Both crispy chicken cutlet and juicy karaage are on it, and it's full of volume.

The limited-time menu from March is priced at 637 yen (tax included, same below). In addition, you can order a "chicken cutlet and fried chicken set meal" with rice and side dishes on a separate plate and pork soup for 745 yen, but this time I will choose the bowl.

It comes out in the same bowl as the cutlet bowl, but if the cutlet and the cutlet are lined up as they are, the amount is too large to fit, so the cutlet is layered on top of the cutlet. It seems like I'm hungry because I see it.

It feels like it doesn't fit in this bowl

I decided to get it from Karaage at once. The slightly flavored chicken is fried softly, and while the outside is dry, the inside is juicy and salty, making it perfect as a side dish for rice. It's cut into bite-sized pieces, so it's easy to eat. It goes well with the mayonnaise attached to the side.

The meat is juicy

Then chicken cutlet. The batter is crispy and the meat is tender but not juicy like karaage, but emphasizes the texture of cutlet. The saltiness is not as high as that of Karaage, so if you eat it alternately, the difference in seasoning will be noticeably fun. The compatibility with mayonnaise is not so bad. It's also refreshing to chew with shredded cabbage.

The amount of rice is large enough that you can't just eat cutlet and karaage. After flattening it, it was a very powerful drink.
