The Meguro Musashi-Koyama store is about a 3-minute walk from Musashi-Koyama Station. The brick-like fashionable appearance is a landmark.


The store name is a coined word that is a combination of LEB (heart), BREAD (bread), and ESPRESSO (espresso). Popular breads, specialty coffees, jams, etc. are on sale.

When you enter the shop, the fragrant wheat scent is fluffy. I was appetizing, so I decided to eat at the eat-in seat. The toast menu has a rich lineup, from simple ones such as "butter toast" to those that combine nuts, cheese, and vegetables.

I chose "Pistachio & Mascarpone". It is coated with the original pistachio milk jam. Gorgeous visuals with pistachios, cranberries and mascarpone. The price is 450 yen (tax included, same below).


What surprises me when I eat a bite is the deliciousness of bread. The toasted surface is crispy and the inside is moist and chewy. The more you chew, the more the aroma and sweetness of wheat spreads. Even the parts that tend to be dry are soft.


Pistachio milk jam is a combination of milk jam from Awaji Island, fresh cream from Hokkaido, condensed milk, and sugar, and pistachio from Sicily. A rich finish that combines the milky sweetness and the richness of nuts. For pistachio lovers, there is only happiness.


Furthermore, mascarpone boosts the deliciousness. The mellow taste makes it even richer. You can also enjoy the contrast between the hot toast and the cool and smooth mascarpone.


The luxurious toast goes well with the "cafe latte" (450 yen) that I ordered together. The faint acidity and bitterness snuggle up comfortably.


To be honest, I didn't think I could feel so happy with just one toast ... I regret that I licked bread. I would like to To go bread and make myself happy at home.
