Freshly baked custard apple pie specialty store "RINGO" will open its first store in Chiba prefecture on October 10th in the Tobu Department Store Funabashi store.

The only product is "freshly baked custard apple pie". It features the crispy texture of 144 layers of puff pastry and the taste of custard cream with plenty of it. The custard gently wraps the sourness of apples, and people of all ages, from children to adults, can enjoy it.


Domestic apples such as "Leaf Tozuru Apple" from Aomori Prefecture are used for filling. Custard cream is made from Hokkaido milk, and it is said that the custard cream is fully injected by baking the dough once and then "adding it". Also, by folding a lot of fresh butter into the dough and baking it twice, it seems that a more plump height and a light texture will be created.


The price of apple pie is 399 yen per piece and 1,512 yen for a set of 4 pieces, both including tax. Up to 4 pieces can be sold per person.

The store is located at 7-1-1 Honcho, Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture. Business hours are from 10:00 to 20:30 (until 19:30 on Sundays only).
