"Macaroni cake" for dessert
Of course, coffee or tea and dessert are also included. It's a traditional "macaroni cake" in Croatia.
The macaroni cake has a faint macaroni shape on the cross section of the chocolate-colored dough. You can easily cut it by inserting a fork. Even if you eat it, it's so soft that you can't tell the boundary between chocolate and macaroni. Crushed nuts are laid out, and its bubble wrap and poly-poly texture are pleasant.
The coffee is very rich and espresso-like. Is it a brewing method similar to Italy facing the same Mediterranean Sea? It goes well with solid chocolate candies.
Croatian cuisine that is slightly different from everywhere, while incorporating elements of various countries on the European and Mediterranean coasts. It seems that I knew a part of it, and I'm kind of happy. Anyway, I definitely wanted to try seafood next time.
