KALDI's "Dacquoise"
It's a once-in-a-lifetime meeting because it won't be restocked at a store near KALDI's "Dacquoise".

When I go to KALDI Coffee Farm, I often find "Dacquoise" at the counter. It's a bite-sized candy filled with soft cream in a crispy dough, but I tried it because "hojicha" and "salt caramel" were sold as seasonal flavors.

KALDI's Dacquoise comes in a variety of flavors for spring, summer, fall and winter, but it's gone when you notice it. If you buy it once and look for it to be delicious and want to buy it again, you can't find it. When I asked the shop staff, they said, "Basically, there is no restocking."

"But this flavor is a lot for our shop," he continued, but the arrival on July 15 has decreased considerably. Mamayo I bought one roasted green tea and one salted caramel once in a while. The selling price is 120 yen (tax included) for both.

Hojicha Dacquoise

The dough and cream are light green

Hojicha Dacquoise has a light green dough and cream. It doesn't smell like tea right after it bites, but it smells like it later.

The whole flavor is Hojicha, but the more you eat it, the stronger it feels. It's still a little light when you first put your teeth on the dough, and then it seems to taste thicker when the cream touches your tongue.

Even so, compared to brewing hot tea and drinking it, the aroma and flavor were much milder, there was almost no bitterness, and the sweetness was gentle.

Salt caramel duck words

KALDI's "Salt Caramel Dacquoise"
The taste that the body wants more salt when eating

Salted caramel claims saltiness and sweetness from cream. The contrast with the dough is clear, and you can enjoy the two flavors separately.

The saltiness remains on the tongue considerably, but it is rather preferable. As I bite, I even feel that my body wants more salt. It may be due to the summer climate.

Of course, the caramel flavor and sweetness are as strong as the saltiness, so the finish is just like sweets. The presence of the fabric is modest, but the softness and lightness of the teeth that are unique to Dacquoise are alive and well.
