Dolce Ego Meringata, sold at KALDI, is a sweet that combines rich cream and crispy meringue. Sold in the frozen section, the content was 55g (1.94oz) and the price was 270 yen (including tax). Imported product from Italy, the country of origin.

When removed from the box, the meringata appeared in a paper tray, cut into three pieces. Remove from the freezer and it will thaw in 10 minutes.


The cream sloshes smoothly on the plate. It is sweet and full of milk. Yet, it has a refreshing aftertaste.



The meringue underneath the cream is crunchy, crispy, and lightly accented with texture. The meringue seems a little small compared to the amount of cream, but I think this is a good balance because it accentuates the cream's leading role.


As for the taste, no complaints! This product is recommended for sweets lovers who can enjoy a richness that is hard to believe it is a frozen sweet. If you see it, please give it a try.
