Hanakyabetsu, a pancake specialty store in Jiyugaoka, Tokyo. About 4 minutes walk from Jiyugaoka station, you can see the shop with a retro atmosphere.
Like a specialty store, the pancake menu is very rich. There are about 50 types of pancakes, from meals to sweets, and it's hard to choose.
After hesitation, I chose the morning that was offered between 9:30 and 11:00. "A set (plain pancake & drink)" (495 yen), "B set (plain pancake & bacon & fried egg & drink)" (770 yen), "C set (croque monsieur & drink)" (600 yen) I was attracted to the price and ordered the "A set" (price includes tax).
Two simple pancakes, honey and maple, and a set drink of tea were brought in. It is a rare style with a thin fabric folded.
The dough is moist and chewy. It has a unique texture that is different from the trendy fluffy pancakes. There is a slight sweetness in the fragrance, and it seems that it can be used as it is.
Add honey and maple on the way. Honey gives a gorgeous sweetness, and maple gives a mellow richness. The saltiness of the butter that melts on the hot dough is entwined and the best!
Not only freshly made, but it is moist and delicious even if it is cooled a little. The dough is thin, but by the time I finished eating two, my stomach and heart were quite full.
Morning that you can enjoy with one coin in the fashionable town of Jiyugaoka. If you recharge your energy with delicious pancakes in the morning, you will be able to spend the day well.
