The other day, the author who made "Katsu Curry" with "Big Katsu". This time I tried "Katsu Sando".
■ How to make
1. Apply an appropriate amount of butter and mustard on one side of the bread2. Place the shredded cabbage in the desired amount, and then add the big katsu from above.
3. Sprinkle the medium-thick sauce over the big katsu and sandwich it to complete!
At first, I put one on it, but when I saw it from the side, it wasn't enough. There are still big katsu that I bought for adults, so I added 4 more.
■ Tasting
If you look at it lightly, it doesn't look like cutlet sandwich ... The appearance is almost zero, and it has become a "clothing sandwich" rather than a "cutlet sandwich".When I grab a bite to try it ... it's great! The batter is hard! The strength of the Big Katsu was increased by stacking three sheets with an emphasis on appearance. If it's an ordinary cutlet sandwich, it's "crispy, juwa", but if it's 3 big cutlet sandwiches, it's "crispy, squeaky". Originally I knew that it was a chewy candy, but it was so hard.
If you continue to chew as it is, the flavor of big katsu will gradually spread in your mouth. There is no feeling of eating meat. However, the crispy texture of the batter lasts for a long time, so you can fully enjoy the feeling of eating "fried food sandwiches". The taste of big katsu itself is strong, and it goes well with bread and cabbage.
Reflecting on the stacking, I also tried the big cutlet sandwich made from one piece, but this still left me unsatisfactory. It will be easier to eat, so it may be good for those who want to enjoy something like cutlet sandwich for the time being. The taste isn't bad ...
An excellent "Big Katsu" made from seafood sheets. If you spend 180 yen for 30 yen x 6 sheets, it is honestly quicker to buy cutlet sandwiches from the beginning, even if you consider the labor and material costs.
However, I think that the satisfaction (?) Of "I ate a cutlet sandwich made from big katsu!" Can be obtained to some extent. Next time, I will try "Katsudon".
