This year (2017), Kura Sushi will have its first Christmas menu. Three items, "fried chicken," "megamori potato," and "tree parfait," will be on sale for a limited time from December 15th to 25th (excluding some stores).

For fried chicken, we carefully select and use only juicy chicken thighs. It is tastefully finished with a special spice that is crisp and spicy. By using special batter and frying after ordering, you can enjoy the crunchy texture, the umami of the overflowing gravy, and the taste of spices that are exquisitely intertwined. The price is 216 yen (tax included, same below).


Megamori Potato is a Christmas version of Kura Sushi's popular menu "Morimori Potato". The amount has been increased to 1.5 times the normal size, and the price is unchanged at 270 yen, which is a great deal.


You can also bring fried chicken and megamori potatoes home in a Christmas-only barrel (if you purchase 3 or more fried chicken).


The tree parfait, which has the image of a Christmas tree, is a dessert made by layering chocolate pudding, whipped cream, and chocolate ice cream, and topped with matcha whipped cream and strawberry dice. The finish is decorated with chocolate in the shape of a star. For sushi, a rich parfait that mixes sweetness and bittersweetness. The price is 270 yen, and only eat-in is offered.


According to a questionnaire survey, chicken is the number one menu item you want to eat at Christmas, and sushi is number five (source: Rakuten Research). It's convenient to be able to buy these two at the same time! It seems to be a strong ally for the house party.
