The Sweetest Sweets in the World - Indian "Gulab Jamun"!

The third Saturday in October is Sweetest Day. It is a day of commemoration that originated in the U.S. and is a day to express gratitude to loved ones. The literal translation is "the sweetest day!

So this time, I would like to try " Gulab Jamun," an Indian sweet that is said to be the "sweetest in the world!

What is gulab jamun?

Gulabjamun is a dough made of flour, sugar, and milk, formed into a round shape, deep-fried, and dipped in syrup. It is like a ball-shaped doughnut soaked in syrup.

I got the Haldiram gulab jamun (canned) from Amazon. The price is 698 yen (tax and shipping not included).

What's in the Gulab Jamun?

When you open the can, you will find 8 bite-sized doughnuts soaked in syrup. When you break them open, you can see that they are soaked to the inside! The smell is so sweet you'd think it was some kind of perfume already.

. The moment I ate it, it was extremely sweet, and as I chewed it, it became sweeter and sweeter, and by the time I swallowed it, the sweetness was so strong that it hit my brain! This is the ultimate sweet treat for those with a sweet tooth...!
