Butaju, which I love, is sold at the famous store "Sankou-tei" in Gotanda. It is a shop that "people in the know know" that stands quietly in the back alley about 3 minutes on foot from Gotanda Station.
Here, "Butaju Lunch" (1,000 yen) is offered only for 15 meals a day during lunch hours (from 11:00 am). By the way, the lunch menu is only pig weight, so the lunch business will end when 15 meals are sold out. After 12 o'clock, businessmen and group customers will come in one after another, so it is recommended to arrive at the restaurant around 11 o'clock to make sure you eat.
In the evening, it will be an izakaya with meat and fish, and the pork will be served as a dinner menu.
There are only 9 seats at the counter in the store, which the owner of the father manages by himself. It's a small shop, but it's full of warm atmosphere, where you can imagine how many people are crowded at night.
By the way, I ordered a pig heavy lunch on this day as well (or rather, it's the only one). Then, over the counter, my dad started grilling juju and pork. It seems that pork is roasted in the same way as "kabayaki", and the scent of swelling smoke mixed with fragrant soy sauce peaks my hunger and appetite. Dad early ...!
In about 5 minutes, the pig heavy lunch was delivered!
Miso soup, new incense, and cabbage coleslaw salad are included in the set. By the way, you can choose from a small amount of rice, usually a large serving. This time I asked "normally".
When you gently open the lid of the heavy box ...! Many pieces of pork that have been baked are piled up and cover the rice! If you count the meat, it's 9 pieces, and each piece is big! As expected, there are only 15 limited meals, and pork is generously used for each meal.
First, pour one piece of meat. The sweet scent that is emitted when the fat with plenty of umami is roasted wraps the whole body from the mouth. Enchanted ...
And what I feel on my tongue is the aroma and sweetness of the slightly charred soy sauce sauce. When chewed, the meat juice overflows and the sweetness of the fat melted by the heat fills the mouth. It goes without saying that the sauce further accentuates the deliciousness of the pork.
Probably because it is baked well and the fat is removed, there is no stubbornness. The balance between chewy and melting fat is just right, and I think that even women can eat without feeling heavy.
You can eat plump cooked rice and meat alternately. You can also wrap the rice with meat and spread it in a "meat musubi" style. Sansho and Shichimi peppers are placed on the table, so you can freely add toppings to change the taste and enjoy.
The rice is "normal" and has a volume that seems to be about two bowls, but it is soaked with gravy and sauce, and it is excellent by itself. Is it a little more? However, be careful as you can easily finish the meal unexpectedly!
By the way, miso soup also has a non-instant handmade taste. I felt a slight citrus scent, so I wonder if it contains yuzu peel. The salad isn't "friendly", but it's full of cabbage that is well-eaten. Favorability goes up in such a place. This is the point you want to repeat.
A pig heavy lunch that is very satisfying in terms of both taste and volume, and 1,000 yen is too good for cospa! I think. A feeling of happiness that comes immediately after opening the lid of the jubako, just like the moment you open the Tamatebako filled with treasure. Please try it out.
