An event "Nihonshu BAR" where you can compare about 20 kinds of sake for 100 yen per cup will be held on February 1st at Nakano BC (Kainan City, Wakayama Prefecture).


The highlight of sake is the new sake from Kinokuniya Bunzaemon, which you can only taste on this day. It is said that it will be offered as "Sasai Gori Sake", which is squeezed with a little moromi so that you can enjoy the sweetness of sake rice that is just right for new sake. In addition, you can enjoy about 20 kinds of sake such as Daiginjo sake, Ginjo sake, and Junmai sake of each brand for 100 yen.

In addition, 4 types of "sake cocktails" using yuzu and soy milk (200 yen each) are offered, and about 25 stalls by local restaurants are also open. "Fujishiro Lion Dance," which is designated as an intangible folk cultural property of the prefecture, pottery experience, rice cake making competition, and quoits game are also planned. Not only people who like sake but also people who are not good at sake can enjoy it.


Admission is 500 yen (free for minors), and includes a voucher to receive an original choco and a drink ticket. The holding time is from 10:00 to 16:00 (last admission 15:00). On the day of the event, a free shuttle bus will be operated from the west exit (front) of Kainan Station on the JR Kisei Line (every 20 minutes from 9:15).
