At this event, you can enjoy oysters caught in the sea of Kujukushima, one of the prefecture's leading oyster producing areas, in a self-barbecue style. November, when the season begins, is held as the "Autumn Team," and February, when the body grows and tightens, is held as the "Winter Team."
400 roasting tables will be set up at the venue, and 1,600 seats will be prepared. After securing a seat, purchase and rent ingredients such as oysters and necessary equipment. Ingredients prepared include raw oysters with Kujukushima shells (about 1 kg 700 yen), dried squid overnight, turban shells, abalone, and grilled rice balls (not allowed to bring in).
The dates are November 15, 16, 22, 23, 24, 29, 30, December 6, and 7 for a total of 9 days. The time is from 10:00 to 16:00.
At Kujukushima Pearl Sea Resort, an admission ticket for the aquarium "Umikirara" in the facility, a plan for boarding a large pleasure boat, and a plan that includes an oyster festival are on sale. If you apply for this, you will be promised to secure a seat at the oyster festival.
