Manpaku, an outdoor food festival that brings together popular restaurants from all over the country, will be held again this year in the Green Culture Zone of Showa Kinen Park, Tachikawa City, Tokyo. The period is 19 days from May 14th to June 1st.

This year, each store will exhibit in nine genres of "seafood," "karaage," "ramen," "gyoza," "world," "local," "sweets," "tama area," and "product."

Below are some of the items that interest you from the exhibition menu on the day (genres in parentheses).

◆ Oarai Crab and Shrimp Specialty Store Kajima "Taraba Crab Whole One Grill" (Seafood)

Torikai's specialty menu "Nagoya Cochin Chicken Wings Fried Chicken", which won the "Highest Gold Award" for the third consecutive year at the "Karaage Grand Prix", is priced at 1,200 yen for 4 bottles. You can enjoy the "secret sauce" using soy sauce and red wine, which has not changed since the establishment, and the thick fried chicken wings finished with several kinds of original blended salt.

In addition, 200g (7.05oz) of karaage (600 yen) and 4 kinds of fried variety packs (1,200 yen) are also available.

◆ Takemoto Shoten Tsukemen ☆ Kaitakusha "Thick Pork Bone Ise Ebi Tsukemen" (Ramen)

In Tsuchizaki, Akita City, which has a population of only 20,000, a "large line" was formed in search of a cup of tsukemen, and Takemoto Shoten, which still attracts 600 people a day, exhibited for the first time at Manpaku. "Thick pork bone Ise lobster tsukemen" (800 yen), which 90% of customers eat, will be on sale.

In addition, "rich pork bone sea urchin tsukemen" (900 yen) will also be prepared.

◆ Utsunomiya Gyoza Menmen "Gyoza" (Gyoza)

Utsunomiya Gyoza Menmen, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary in the city of gyoza, Utsunomiya, is making its debut in Manpaku. The crispy winged dumplings offered at the store are said to be so popular in Utsunomiya that they are said to be "menmen when it comes to winged dumplings." The price is 500 yen for 6 pieces.

There is also boiled dumplings (500 yen for 6 pieces).

Fiore Giardino's "Spicy Grill with Bone Spare Ribs", which was very popular at Manpaku in Expo 2014, is now available in Tokyo for the first time. You can enjoy juicy meat with original blended herbs and spices. The price is 700 yen for 3 bottles.

In addition, grilled shrimp and 4 kinds of mushrooms Ahijo (500 yen), sausage & chorizo (500 yen) are also prepared.

"Senya beef" is a Japanese beef produced in Niimi City, Okayama Prefecture, and is a "phantom" Japanese black beef known as the roots of Matsuzaka beef, Omi beef, and Kobe beef. You can taste the rare Japanese beef meat that is produced in a limited number.

Tawara rolls of Senya beef (1,000 yen), Okowa of Senya beef (700 yen), and skewers of Senya beef (limited quantity, 1,000 yen) are prepared.

◆ Oimoya-san Koshin "Chilled Daigakuimo (with salt vanilla)" (sweets)

Oimoya-san Koshin, a potato confectionery specialty store opened by a potato wholesaler that has been in business for over 130 years in Asakusa, is exhibiting for the first time at Manpaku. In addition to Asakusa's classic souvenir "Daigaku-imo", Manpaku's original menu includes chilled Daigaku-imo (500 yen) and Oimoya-san's shaved ice (700 yen).

In addition, Daigakuimo (1,000 yen) for take-out will be prepared.

"Hachioji Pankatsu", which is an arrangement of Hachioji's "soul food" and "Pankatsu" for Manpaku, is now available for the first time. The mysterious taste of "is it bread or cutlet?" Is addictive. The price is 200 yen.

In addition, Hachioji Mexican bread cutlet (500 yen) and Higashimurayama PoleStar Yakionigiri (500 yen) are also available.

A large collection of "delicious things" from Tohoku. In addition to oyster kimchi (900 yen), Kinka mackerel prosciutto (800 yen), and Tohoku craft beer (bottle 600 yen), a limited number of "excellent sweets" will be on sale.

Admission to Manpaku is 400 yen on weekdays and 500 yen on the day. Advance sale 700 yen on Saturdays and Sundays, 800 yen on the day. A separate food and drink fee will be required at the venue.

The venue is located at 3173 Midoricho, Tachikawa-shi, Tokyo, at Showa Kinen Park Green Cultural Zone. The event will be held from 10:30 to 21:00 (until 18:00 on the last day).
