However, a one-way flight of about 10 hours will respond to the body of thirty. Therefore, I used the business class of LCC airlines this time. Because it starts from 70,000 yen, which is exceptional one way ...! So this time, we're bringing you Jetstar's Business Class Experience Report!
◆ Luxury lounge
The first thing that impressed me was the Qantas Group's lounge, an oasis-like space that can be used by paying an optional fee called Business MAX. You can spend a relaxing time reading or playing with your computer until the boarding time is announced.
The lounge has a rich lineup of light meals and drinks containing alcohol that you can enjoy freely. You can also combine liqueur and juice to make your favorite cocktail.
Light meals are also buffet style, so you can freely eat bread, corn soup, and snacks. Bread and soup are served hot and the taste is authentic, so I ate too much even though I was waiting for an in-flight meal.
◆ Welcome drink and in-flight meal (lunch)
By the way, I finally boarded the plane. As soon as I sat down on the business seat, a welcome drink was delivered. Juice, water and sparkling wine are provided.
Then select in-flight meal. There were three main dishes this time: beef, chicken, and ravioli. I ordered chicken from them.
First of all, the starter bread, soup and salad will be brought in. In contrast to other breads and soups, the salad is crispy and the fresh texture of the vegetables is alive and well.
Then the main dish was brought in. The plump and juicy chicken is combined with a thick ankake-style sauce. Mashed potatoes are served under the chicken, and vegetables such as paprika and carrots are served on the sides.
The sauce has a surprisingly gentle Japanese-style dashi flavor that goes well with chicken and mashed potatoes. It's warm and soft, and it's so authentic that you can't think of it as an in-flight meal! I think the recent in-flight meals are so delicious.
◆ Second in-flight meal (light dinner)
A light dinner is served a few hours before arriving in Melbourne. This time the menu is quiche or sushi. I ordered the quiche that the Cabin Crew brother recommended, "It's very delicious!"
Hokuhoku pumpkin quiche is served in a spicy tomato-based sauce. The outer pie is crispy and fluffy inside. It has a warm and relaxing taste, like a homemade quiche made by a foreign mother.
By the way, you can drink all-you-can-drink alcohol and soft drinks on board. Eat plenty, drink as much as you like, watch a leisurely movie on your rented iPad ... What a luxury air travel!
Business class, which is usually quite difficult, can be easily reached with LCC if you stretch a little. If you feel like you're about to break in the cold winter, why not take the plunge and jump over the equator to visit Melbourne, where the four seasons are the exact opposite of Japan?
Jetstar Narita-Melbourne direct flights start at JPY 29,000 for economy and JPY 70,000 for business class (fuel costs are not required).
