At the Japan Final, 10 bartenders who have won the 1st and 2nd qualifying rounds will compete in 4 competitions for "skill", "taste" and "hospitality" including the bartender's personality. The competition is both entertaining and professional, starting with making original cocktails and arranging to add original twists (changes) to classic cocktails.

Mr. Kurakami, who won the overall victory, commented with a joyful expression, "I want to go back to the bar early and tell the master. Then I have to do the store business today," and invited laughter at the venue.

Mr. Kurakami will represent Japan in the Global Finals from Scotland to London from July 28th to August 1st. World Class, which is celebrating its 6th year this year, is a world-class competition in which bartenders from 52 countries compete under the theme of "Raising the Bar". I look forward to the success of Mr. Kurakami, who will take on the challenge of a bigger stage.
