A new potato chips brand "KOIKEYA PRIDE POTATO" is born from Koike-ya. Three products, "Secret Rich Nori Salt," "Matsutake Mushroom Scented Extreme Dashi Salt," and "Enchanted Roasted Wagyu Beef," will be released at convenience stores nationwide on February 6, 2017. It will be on sale from February 13th at other stores.

KOIKEYA PRIDE POTATO is a potato chip developed with particular attention to the material, peeling method, washing method, frying method, thickness, oil type, finish, etc. Using 100% Japanese potatoes, it is said to be a "light and tasty" dish.

The secret rich nori salt is a blend of three kinds of chili peppers with an accent on the taste of "three kinds of salt" and the flavorful domestic green laver. The flavor of the seaweed that spreads in the mouth and the rich seasoning are said to be addictive.

The matsutake scented extreme dashi salt is made by adding the flavor of matsutake mushrooms to the two umami flavors of Yaizu bonito flakes and Hidaka kelp. It's a "Japanese-focused" flavor that gives you a taste of deep Japanese food.

The fascinating roasted Wagyu beef has a flavor that you can enjoy the fragrant and juicy taste of thickly sliced high-class Wagyu beef that is roasted over charcoal. It is said that it is finished by adding "sharpness" with black pepper to the rich taste.
