Nagata Tea Shop "[Junsei] Daisen Matcha Roru"
"[Junsei] Daisen Matcha Roru" from Tottori, Nagata Tea Shop

"Nagata Tea Shop" is a long-established tea shop from Tottori prefecture that has been in business for 215 years this year. The signature product here is the roll cake "[Junsei] Daisen Matcha Ro-ru," which uses plenty of matcha from Tottori prefecture.

This is a matcha roll cake made using Dainagon Azuki from Hokkaido and domestic milk in addition to the matcha "Daisen no Shiro" cultivated in Daisen, Tottori Prefecture. Matcha-flavored souffle dough wrapped in a smooth cream that combines matcha and azuki beans.

Matcha cream has a large amount of azuki beans

By the way, a piece of cake (about 3 cm thick) cut into 6 minutes is made with "Oyama no Shiro", which is equivalent to a cup of matcha! Also, it seems that the proportion of the dough is intentionally reduced so that you can fully enjoy the plenty of matcha cream.

Oyama Matcha with cream as the main character

The first thing that surprised me was the good melting of the souffle dough! With a moist and moist texture, it melts quickly before cream with a single bite.

The matcha cream, which is fully hugged by this dough, melts gently on the tongue while being thick and thick, and spreads the bittersweet matcha flavor to the mouth. The plump Dainagon Azuki's sweetness and texture are accented.

Anyway, the matcha flavor is good!

Matcha is also sprinkled on the top of the dough, and from the beginning to the end, it's so much that you can say "this is it!" The elegant bitterness and umami invite the next bite, and the mouthfeel is so good that you can eat as much as you want. If you inadvertently make one whole piece, be careful!

Oyama Matcha Ro-ru is also sold on the store's mail-order site, and it seems that there are special events in various places in Tokyo. If you like matcha, please buy it and eat it if you see it!

The price is 2,160 yen per bottle (tax included, same below), 1,080 yen for half size, and 378 yen for one piece with 1/6 cut.
