La Maison du Chocolat, a chocolate specialty store founded in 1977, will open its 8th store in Japan, La Maison du Chocolat Shinjuku Odakyu Store, on the second floor of the main building of Odakyu Department Store Shinjuku. Open.

The lineup includes chocolates, macaroons, and patisseries that are popular all over the world, including France. In addition, a limited-time product "Eclair Pomme Praline" (756 yen including tax) will be released to commemorate the opening.

Eclair Pomme praline is a combination of green apple compote and plenty of praline cream on a choux pastry that is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. It is finished by layering white chocolate-based glasage, which is inspired by the color of green apples. The refreshing sour taste of green apples is said to be the first appearance in Japan.
