Gion Tsujiri released a lip balm "Matcha Lip Balm" using "Highest grade Matcha" and "Kento no Mukashi" on September 10th. The price is 1,620 yen (tax included).

Matcha Lip Balm is a collaboration product of "Kyoto Shabonya", a soap studio that sticks to "natural materials", and Gion Tsujiri. It will be sold in the original package of Gion Tsujiri, which has the image of fresh "freshly picked tea leaves".


The matcha green tea "Kento no Kyo" used as a raw material was released in commemoration of the 1,200th anniversary of the Heian period. The tea leaves cultivated in the southern part of Kyoto Prefecture are examined and carefully ground with a stone mill.

This is combined with the Theaceae "Yucha oil", which is the same as the tea plant "Tea plant". Yucha oil spreads well and fits moisturized on the skin. It is said that it is finished to bring out the refreshing scent of matcha. The container is made of bamboo. The lips are not colored.
