Vol. 1 Mr. Donut will sell a total of five varieties of "misdo meets Gion Tsujiri Vol. 1" jointly developed with the Uji tea specialty store "Gion Tsujiri" from March 29 (Wed) until late April (except at some stores).

Vol. 1

This is the seventh year of the misdo meets Gion Tsujiri project. The first batch features "Pont de Uji Matcha" dough kneaded with Gion Tsujiri's Uji Matcha, which is characterized by its aroma, color, bitterness, and flavor. Rice flour doughnut dough, which is kneaded with Uji hojicha tea from Gion Tsujiri and made with rice flour, will also make an appearance.

In addition, this year, "dark matcha whip" and "dark hojicha whip" were developed to enjoy the tea-kneaded dough even more. This lineup allows customers to enjoy the combination of the carefully selected dough and thick whip.

Pon de Double Uji

Matcha

The popular "Pon de Double Uji Matcha" will be available again this year. The Pon de Ring dough with a sticky texture, kneaded with Uji matcha from Gion Tsujiri, is coated with Uji matcha chocolate. You can enjoy the double taste of matcha, the dough and the chocolate. The price is 194 yen for To go and 198 yen for eat-in (tax included).

Ring Pon de Ring with thick matcha whip and Hokkaido azuki beans sandwiched between Pon de Ring dough kneaded with Gion Tsujiri's Uji matcha green tea. The thick matcha whip has a pleasant aroma and just the right amount of bitterness and flavor, while the Hokkaido azuki beans, Uji matcha chocolate, and brown sugar (brown sugar) add a Japanese taste to the cake.
