The new cup yogurt product "Danone Oikos Pumpkin & Sweet Potato" was released at a convenience store on September 6th. The price is 171 yen (tax included).

This is a combination of dense "Greek yogurt" with pumpkin and sweet potato sauce. The package is based on black and has a "Jack-o-Lantern" design, so you can see that it is a Halloween-conscious product.


The classic autumn sweets, pumpkin and tasting, are rarely combined with yogurt. It doesn't seem to be a good match, but is it?

When you remove the lid, a pure white yogurt appears. The sauce is laid towards the bottom of the cup.



A bright yellow sauce. You can feel the rich sweetness of pumpkin and sardines. It also has a rough, fibrous texture.

Greek yogurt is fluffy and creamy. The slight acidity softens the strong sweetness of the sauce, leading to a refreshing aftertaste.


It's subtle when asked if it fits better than fruit, but it's not as bad as it sounds. It's seasonal, so if you like pumpkin and yaoi sweets, you can try it once.
