Danone Oikos "Fat 0 (zero) Pear" drained yogurt with the pulp of ripened Bartlett pears.

Danone Japan's Danone Oikos drained yogurt "Danone Oikos Fat 0 (zero) Pear" will be available for a limited time and will begin shipping to convenience stores nationwide on August 16, and to supermarkets on August 23. It will be available at an open price.

Danone Oikos Zero Fat Pear

It has a content of 113 grams and a protein content of 10.1 grams, twice that of regular yogurt, and also features zero fat and less than 100 kcal (90 kcal) calories. It combines the elegant, soft sweetness of ripe pears with a rich, refreshing flavor.

Pears are mainly of the Bartlett variety. They are characterized by high juice content, smooth pulp, and a mellow aroma. The soft texture of the pear is enhanced by allowing it to ripen before processing. The sauce is naturally sweetened with pear pulp to enhance the flavor of the drained yogurt.

The packaging depicts the Danone Oikos brand message of supporting athletes, with a runner cutting the goal tape in a track and field event, a ballet dancer, and a rock climber scaling a cliff, all with the muscles used in the sport represented in a dynamic image.
