I went to the Harajuku store just at 11 o'clock on a certain day in July, thinking that it would be very crowded ... I was able to enter with no queue and no waiting time! Everyone, it is recommended to go to the Harajuku store just after the roast beef Ohno opens on weekdays !!

◆ Eat Wagyu roast beef bowl

When you enter the store, first order and pay at the cashier counter.

There are two types of menus: "Japanese beef roast beef bowl set meal (with pickles, soup, condiments)" (1,620 yen including tax) and "Roast beef bowl set meal (with pickles, soup, condiments)" (1,080 yen including tax) using Australian beef. ..

This is my first visit to the store, so this is probably Wagyu! So, I ordered "Wagyu roast beef bowl set meal".


A few minutes later, when I saw the roast beef bowl that came in, the first word that came to my mind was " Volcano ...? ". The figure that towers above the bowl is like a volcano that spouts magma. Raw egg yolks are settled on the top of the "mountain", and mayonnaise overflows.


Next to the mountain, pickled cabbage is attached. It looks like a meadow.


For first-time customers, the clerk will carefully teach you how to eat. Garnished with miso-zuke of cream cheese and grated horseradish. There is also pink salt on the table, so you can use it as you like.


Well then! Let's get down to Volcano. However, I don't know where to dig from, so I tried peeling off one roast beef for the time being ...


Big !! Eh !? This is one ...!? Maybe the biggest roast beef I've ever eaten has set a new record ...! Four pieces of huge meat of this level wrap around a heap of rice. Considerable volume. I want to be wrapped in this every night and sleep.

There's no guilty feeling of squeezing this giant roast beef into your mouth! I'm glad I was alive !!

The moderately greasy roast beef has no dullness, and the more you chew it, the more the umami of red meat and the slight sweetness ooze out. Moist but moderately elastic, with a crispy and crispy texture. Oh, it ’s just delicious.


Add richness by entwining mayonnaise and eggs, or taste refreshingly with wasabi and pink salt. Even though I'm eating a lot of roast beef, I can enjoy various taste changes with condiments and toppings, so I never get tired of it until the end. The sweet and sour cabbage with chopsticks rest is also a good accent. Also, a spicy sauce like gochujang is sandwiched between the rice and the roast beef, which makes it tingling and appetizing.

By the way, you can make a large serving of rice for free, but roast beef alone can make you quite full, so be careful not to make a mistake, especially for women. I left a little rice even in the normal serving ... I'm sorry.

It seems that the Harajuku store may be lined up on Saturdays and Sundays, but (for now) it's open on weekday mornings, so I'm aiming for it. However, it seems that it is crowded at noon even on weekdays, and the number of customers has been increasing one after another from around 11:30 on this day as well. I think it was probably full after the writer left the store.

The inside of the store is not very large with 4 tables and counter seats, but the rotation is fast, so if you aim for a vacant time, you can enter relatively easily. If you are tired of waiting in line, please visit the Harajuku store!
