Tendon "Tenya" opens "Small Drink"! The richness of the snack menu is at the izakaya level

Tendon chain "Tenya" has opened its first store specializing in "little drinks". The highlight menu is the restaurant's first "Kushiten". It is a skewered tempura that was enjoyed at street stalls during the Edo period. In addition, many snacks will be prepared, and it seems that the types of alcohol will increase.

I wonder what kind of store it is, specializing in drinking a little. The author, who was curious, immediately went to the "Choi Drinking Tenya (Tendon Tenya Marunouchi North Exit Store)" near Tokyo Station.

A little drink at "Kushiten" ... I went to "Slightly drink"

The store is located in a restaurant area called "Aji no Promenade" just outside the Marunouchi North Exit of Tokyo Station. After passing through the ticket gate, go out toward Otemachi and you will see it on your right, in front of the group of stores under the elevated railroad. Outside the store is a beer sign and a photo of tempura. Here, no doubt.

The red lantern is also a landmark

After 16:00 when you can drink a little, the ticket vending machine will be closed and it will be a table order system. There are 12 counter seats and 18 tables. There was also a table that could be used by four people.

Let's take a look at the menu in the audience. After all it is Kushiten that is worrisome. There are 13 types of shrimp, squid, and lotus root (starting from 60 yen, including tax, the same applies below). However, after all, I was surprised at the richness of the menu other than Kushiten. About 30 kinds of snacks and salads, fried foods, and sashimi are available. Potato salad, omelet, fried chicken, french fries, croquettes, pickles ... It's no exaggeration to say that it's an izakaya. There is also a set menu (780 yen each) that combines draft beer with any of the three types of skewers, tuna tataki, squid sashimi, and octopus sashimi.

Alcohol includes draft beer (Kirin), hoppy, highball, sake, shochu, and "wine that goes well with tempura," which is offered on a trial basis at some stores.

Sake steamed !? Ahijo !?

Moderate variation of drinks

For the time being, I ordered a draft beer set of "Tuna Tataki" and 3 kinds of skewers (shrimp, eggplant, cream cheese). I was worried about sashimi at the tempura shop, but I was able to eat it without any discomfort. It is delicious to mix a generous amount of green onions into a scallions. Not only skewers, but also freshly fried and crispy. Tempura and beer are pretty good.

It wasn't crispy when it was just thawed

From the left, eggplant, shrimp and cream cheese. Cream cheese is recommended

Suddenly, I got a strange sense of déjà vu. Fried food and beer on skewers ... I think I've seen it somewhere. Yes, it's Kushikatsu. It's that kushikatsu that is "prohibited twice". If you replace the kushikatsu with kushiten, you see.

Yes Yes

Finally, I ordered a draft beer set, 3 kinds of skewers, shochu and iburi-gakko, and the bill was 1,810 yen. Is the feeling of money about "ordinary izakaya"? I thought it was expensive for a little drink, but looking back, I had 2 glasses of sake and 5 kinds of food. It's never expensive. I'm sure the writer who rushed into the second cup is bad.

To the last, this is Tenya

On my way home, I opened up to see the regular menu, and noticed that there was a menu that was clearly more advantageous than the draft beer set Kushiten. As some of you may know, the "Tempura Assortment" is a set of 6 types of tempura (twice as much as the skewered tempura set!) For 410 yen. If you add draft beer, it costs 810 yen, which is only 30 yen different from the Kushiten set. Personally, it doesn't matter if it's not a skewer. Next time, let's use this combination. I also want to try "Tempura and Wine".

Assorted vegetable heaven is also good

If you think about it carefully, there are yakitori restaurants and kushikatsu restaurants that you can drop in, but I don't think there are many tempura restaurants that you can drop in. It is a very good point of "a little drink with fast food" that you can easily put it in without hesitation.
