Lotte's "Yukimi Dakkoku Takumi no Mitarashi under the supervision of Kikunoi Mushirozanbou" with sweet and sour sauce that goes well with vanilla!

Yukimi-dakko Takumi no Mitarashi under the supervision of Kikunoi Muzanbou

We tried a limited time flavor from Lotte's "Yukimi Dakkuhu" brand, "Yukimi Dakkuhu Takumi no Mitarashi" supervised by Kikunoi Mukaiyasanbou. The sweet and sour "Mitarashi Sauce" goes well with the smooth vanilla ice cream. The contents are two pieces of 47 ml each. The estimated price is 205 yen (tax included).

Muge Sambo is a modern Japanese-style restaurant with a Japanese theme, created by Yoshihiro Murata, the third-generation owner of Kyoto's ryotei restaurant Kikunoi, which was established in 1912 and has been awarded three Michelin stars for 13 consecutive years. This time, under Mr. Murata's supervision, the "Mitarashi Sauce," which is richly flavored with ginger and molasses as secret ingredients, is covered with vanilla ice cream and soft rice cakes.

The appearance is reminiscent of "Mitarashi Dango".

The "Mitarashi Sauce" is a must-try!

Smooth ice cream and soft rice cake with sauce are a perfect match.

When cut with a knife, the dark brown sauce peeks out from the cross section. The sauce does not harden even when stored in a freezer, and when you put it in your mouth, you can enjoy the sweet taste and thick texture like the sauce of "Mitarashi-dango" (sweet dumplings).

The gentle texture of the vanilla ice cream and the crispy texture of the mochi (rice cake) go well with the unique flavor of Yukimi-dakkake, creating a perfect balance between ice cream and Japanese confectionery. The ice cream is perfectly balanced and can be enjoyed as a Japanese confectionary as well as an ice cream. It is also perfect with hot hojicha tea, Japanese tea, or even black coffee. The light brown color of the ice cream also makes it a lovely treat for relaxing in the evening, or even for a small cup of tea.
